Is it possible to connect two routers together and still have DSL available?

I've heard a normal CAT 5 would do this but I have tried it and it did not work.

Thanks.

Depends what you are trying to achieve. Those two routers will try and duplicate some services.

So first off, choose which one you will be using as a DHCP server, and disable DHCP in the other one.

If there is an option to do so then you could also turn NAT off on the second router and it should function just like a switch.

IMHO - he is implying that he has two ADSL routers there, NAT is not going to be of any use in the second router anyway as he will be connecting his leads to the LAN side as the WAN side will need a phone lead. :)

OP seems to of been eaten by the Umpa-Lumpas anyway as he has gone AWOL. Either that or he now has everything working perfect.
