Ok, so it's now 9:30 and I have not yet had a chance to play Gears2 which is all I wanted to do tonight.

It's very tempting to swear a lot here, but I will refrain. I won't go through all the frustration I have been through.

So I have my xbox connected to the 2nd network adapter - the first is connected to the router. The xbox can not connect to this router as well - it has to go through the pc.

Anyway, everything appears to work fine. *** xbox can connect to Live - can send messages and all sorts. But I can not get multiplayer in games!

When I go to test settings on the 360 it says NAT is set to strict. This is more than likely the problem, but I have no idea what to change to make it work. Have tried disabling windows firewall entirely, but still no go.

Please tell me what I have to do. Have had enough frustration for one night :(

you might need to open up the right ports on your router and point it to your PC's IP address. this may get rid of the strick NAT, it would usually help but as your connecting your xbox through your PC I dont know what will happen if anythin lol

UDP 88
UDP 3074
TCP 3074

Now got NAT type to "open", but gears still not connecting to anyone.

Besides Halo 3, I gave Frontlines a quick go and could connect to people without a problem...

Whats wrong?

Is the NAT deff open? If it is you shouldn’t have any issues connecting to MP games, if it’s still a issue maybe the games servers are playing up?

I had ICS on Vista and couldn’t get the NAT open no matter what I tried on my other Xbox so I purchased an Wireless dongle.

Finally got it working - at least was able to accept a game invite.

Changed from ICS to bridging the connections.... simple as that.

Had some fun with rp200 and couple of others in horde more. Pretty good fun :)
