Connecting 360 to Creative Audigy card?

Hi,
Im looking for a sound card that I can connect my Xbox 360 to digitally... If i buy a Creative Audigy card with the drive bay adaptor that has Optical input, will I be able to connect my 360 to this input and get 5.1 surround sound out of my speakers??

has no one tried this yet?? If possible, could someone with a 360 (or anything that outputs in Dolby Digital via optical) and Audigy card with Optical input try this for me?
