connecting 360

how would i connect a 360 too the internet when my network card is being used by a network is already on.Would i have too purchase another network card and connect that way?

well our network works like this. internet goes too my dads comp cable from his too mine and we share internet through that so i aint got a spare slot so i was wonderig if i could just buy another network cardfor my pc and just do it like that.
