Connecting a Ddc pump

Hello, so I'm new to water cooling and just built my first custom loop, it cost me a bit extra coz of mistakes but I got there in the end!!
I connected by pwm pump up to the aio connector on my motherboard, seems to be running quite fast and is quiet, not sure if I should connect it to my cpu header though,

Thanks for the advise guys , so I'll leave it connected where it is and set it as fast as I can without it being too noisy, the pump itself is mounted in a phanteks r160 reservoir
