connecting a mac (OSX) to Server 2003 sbs

I have a 2003 sbs domain, and want to connect 2 Macs. Versions are as follows :

mac osx 10.5.3
mac osx 10.4.11

I have NO knowedge of the MAC OS, I only know that it uses the smb protocol? ?
Does anyone have any guides? and how easy is this. I only want the Macs to access 2 shares on the sbs server.

I have that Doc, really wanted some advice and to see if that doc was accurate and if their was anything else to do, tricks of the trade as it were.
Not conectingthem untill next week.
