I've nearly finished putting together an HTPC for gaming and DVD playback. I'm gonna be using an ati card with the DVI>HDMI dongle for upscaling (if needed) and bluray. Also, me son needs to play his games as well, and we want to watch/record tv proggies. I'm assuming the games and tv will seen via a vga cable, and the dvd playback will go through the hdmi cable. I assume that whatever source is being used, the appropriate input is selected on the tv by the user? :)
Sorry, noob question I know
