I currently have my 780 classifieds hooked up to a 30" 2650 x 1600 HP screen via DVI but I want to be able to swap over to my TV for sofa gaming sessions occasionally.

I have run an HDMI cable to my amp in the living room (which feeds in to the TV) but as soon as I connect that I lose the display on my HP screen.
I have tried lowering the resolution on the screen to match my TV but it doesnt seem to make any difference. I can only output to one or the other.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
Scott

I hope this in the right section I feel its more to do with graphics cards than screens.

I believe the HDMI port is linked with one of the DVI ports. Try using the other DVI port. Or use a DVI to HDMI converter.

I have three screens attached to my 780 Ti - 2x DVI and 1x DP - and the only problem is that the card defaults to one of the DVI screens so on boot-up the BIOS is rotated.

I got it working in the end I used windows screen resolution tool rather than Nvidia control panel to clone the display.
Thanks for your input though.
