Connecting aRGB fans

Feel like an idiot
Just bought a bitfenix nova mesh aRGB edition only to find fans come with loads of wires. One cable with 3 pin male and female and 1 cable with argb male and female and a weird looking 3 pin what you get on coolers for gpu for example
Never came across this before, can someone help please? Assuming regular 3 pin is to spin the fans and can be connected to one another
Please help :)
