Hi all,

I have taken up BRSK Gigabyte service and I am currently using their Technicolor router, I find this slower for certain network tasks and it is not able to manage my wireless connection to my Quest. I have the AXE75 which is fantastic, fast and handles my Quest3 with barely any latency.

The problem is, I have a phone line, so currently because the AXE75 does not have a RJ11 telephone port, I have the Technicolor connected with WIFI disabled, and my AXE75 connected into the LAN port 4 of the Technicolor setup as an access point, not only does it take away most of the AXE75 features, the problem I have discovered is that I cannot setup my USB share (HDD plugged into AXE75) properly meaning I can't configure Plex to share my videos from my external HDD to the smart TV's in my house.

Is there a way round this or is there a way to plug a telephone into the AXE75 or buy an adaptor that will allow me to use AXE75 independently or as the main router.

Why on earth are you plugging in a USB drive to your router for Plex to share? Plug it into whatever is running Plex. In terms of your other issue, will BRSK provide you with the details to use your own ATA? Landlines are very much a legacy technology, but if you are desperate to keep one for some reason, then port it to an actual VoIP provider.
