So I went from a Vive to a Reverb G2 and while the G2 is good IMO the inside out tracking is terrible for the controllers. When I was playing beat saber it would lose track of the controller when close to my body and stutter which made playing more annoying than fun.

So I have decided to use the vive controllers and the base stations in conjunction with the G2. However I don't know if it is possible for the base stations to be directly connected to the PC. I know they use bluetooth to communicate with the HMD and in turn the computer and I am guessing they wont connect to the G2 considering it was never intended to be use with the base station.

Does anyone know or have any experience with this?

It's complicated, do you still have the Vive headset?

EDIT: rather than type it out, here is a guide.

How To Use HP Reverb G2 With Valve Index Controllers (uploadvr.com)

It's same with method with the Vive Wands as the Knuckle controllers.
