Connecting both xbox and PC

thank for that.

So I can't plug the pc into one input and the xbox into the other and swap between them?

Cannot vouch for that particular monitor, but both at once and switching is exactly how it works on my Dell 2407... if that helps.

Also, if the specs for that monitor were correct it would be quite an odd resolution... (16850x1050 Resolution)

Sorry, i assumed you were trying to connect both devices via one input,

Anyway, of course you can connect the 360 via the VGA and your PC on the DVI and switch between them by using the input select option in the monitor menu.

My monitor has a res of 1680x1050 and 720p looks great for the 360.

Exactly what I wanted to hear, you just made a sale (although I may decide upon the Samsung SM-2232BW Pebble 22" now).

Got mine 1280x1024 wont run it native on my 226bw but looks nice and its over 720p.VGA opens up another set of setting on your xbox when its connected that way instead of HD settings u get ressolutions.I hear loads of talk about the top of the screen getting cut of etc.Well it dont , take time out to setup the xbox360 again for VGA is all thats needed. Most games dont run in 1080p tbh.The odd few for the 360.
