Heya
I just set up the parts in a desktop. Problem is I can't get the fan at the back of the case two work:
the fan has has two cables coming out of it:
1-one of those that you used to connect to old hard drives (the one with for holes) like this
tutorial-4pin_molex_power_conn.jpg

2-a switch with letter L M F (low medium fast i guess which is to select how fast I want the fan to run) writteb on it

Now the problem is I don't know where to connect that cable to. I don't see any sockets on my mobo. I'm stuck :(

Those fans (no doubt Antec Tri speed) connect straight to a hard disc connector on the power supply ... as you show above and not to the mainboard.

great, thanks it worked.

Now I have another problem

I connected my graphic card (GTX 285) to my monitor but the monitor doesn't show anything as if it is on standby. I have connected both PCI-E powers to the GPU and is mounted firmly on the motherboard but I still don't get any signal :(

It may be another problem, try doing a CMOS reset if not done so already, or remove all RAM bar one memory module and reboot, if that fails try each stick individualy.

All power connectors installed including the 4 or 8 pin for CPU power.

I removed all the RAMs, used DDR3_1 only (1 module), no success.
The 24 and 8 power connectors are all connected to the mobo.

When you switch on the computer do you hear it beep before the POST and can you hear the HDD working even though the screen is blank?

Reseat graphics card, it doesn't always require big nudge to get some card to fail to boot.

I can't hear a beep since my case doesn't have a connector which connects to motherboard's SPEAKER socket.

I can hear HDD working though.
