Hi everyone!

I’d like to use a DeathAdder V3 Pro Mouse with my Mac Mini M4, but the computer doesn’t have a USB-A port. I see two options: either I buy an adapter and use the original cable with the DAV3Pro, or I get a USB-C to USB-C cable (I was thinking of an official Apple cable) and use the mouse that way. Which solution do you think is better? I couldn’t find a Razer USB-C to USB-C cable online.

Thanks!

Yep just buy a cheap braided USB-C from the elsewhere or if you're likely to need more ports in future, buy a USB-C docking station/port extender thing

Edit: or splash out :P

Just make sure you have enough clearance around where the cable goes in on the mouse... e.g. my Logitech G502 lightspeed has a trapezoid shaped bit, which makes it fit really snugly but if it ever breaks I might have a hard time finding a cable that fits (at which point I'll probably try to mod it for wireless charging!)

Alternatively, if you're using it wirelessly, couldn't you just charge it plugged into a phone charger or something else you already have?

Surely you would like to use it Wireless? In which case USB C to USB C with the Receiver/Dongle attached. (Confirmed this works)

Or a USB C Female to USB A Male Adaptor and have the Dongle Attached to Mac Mini that way.

But USB C to USB C and using Wired does work.
