Connecting Downstairs Router to Upstairs Wired Network

Hi,

I'm planning on moving our adsl router (a BE* 780WL) downstairs to run off the master BT socket. It's currently running off a rather poor quality extension upstairs. There are two computers upstairs on a wired network and I was wondering what the best way to connect them to the router in it's new location would be (excluding running a cat5e cable down there - not allowed to make any more holes in walls for the time being!)

Would a wireless bridge such as a WET54G do the job? I've also been looking at powerline products such as the D-Link DHP-301/B. Never used these before, would they work even though the upstairs and downstairs sockets are on different circuits?

Thanks

I reckon a WET54G would do it.

My understanding is the powerlines only work when you can use the same ring circuit, someone please correct me if necessary.
