Its been a few months since I last connected my iPod nano 5th gen to my computer, it all worked fine back then. But now when I come to plug in the iPod I get this message in iTunes:
"An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again"
I have re-installed iTunes and I get the same message
Also I have tried the iPod in another computer which it picked up straight away! it found all my songs, playlists everything. Whilst I was on that computer I thought it would be a good idea to reset the iPod to factory settings hoping it would resolve the issue but it didn't.
The only other apple product I use with the same computer is a iPad 4, could there be some sort of clash at all?
I have no idea where to go from here now, any help would be great
Thanks
