Hi all

got quite a tricky one really i have just bought a 40" LCD and a 360 which is rather nice. but on the other hand pc is not being used. My pc has 7.1 gigaworks and a X-FI Elite Pro soundcard with breakout box.

So i had a little idea with the help of mightynimrod that is :). so it is can i connect my lcd and 360 and pc to the gigaworks in an all in one setup by using the breakout box...

the breakout box has.
Optical in and out _ so i would you's that for the 360?
And then which one of these would i use for the LCD
AUX IN LEFT AND PHONO IN RIGHT
Or SPDIF IN and SPDIF OUT?
Then the pc would just connect to it just like it is now no changing there. the only thing i duno how i would change the sound source to what i wont it to be on any idea's??

Thanks

Is your LCD also a Tuner? ie analogue or freeview? If so then yes just connect the left and right rca out leads to your breakout boxes aux or phonos. If they are both RCA's and both inputs it shouldn't matter which you use. Your TV won't have an SP-DIF out as I don't think Freeview has digital sound(could be wrong there though)

If your using sky or sky + then you wouldn't connect the TV at all, but you don't state which.

Ok then thanks very much for the help. I use a sky multilink eye which connects to the LCD by Coax Cable from the box downsters so thats why i thought I would plug the LCD into the AUX IN and PHONO IN? and just us the LCD's internal mute.

Also no the LE40R51B doesn't have an internal tunner...

Thanks again
