Looking for some advice am going to kit out my Lian Li Evo XL with 9 140 and 1 120. The question is
how do I connect these to the control unit? The connections look different.

The Infinity series have their own L Connect module. It comes in the 3 pack of fans. The 3 pack also has a connector with a single PROPRIETARY plug to go into the module from the bank of fans.

The single packs come with a connector with 2 cables. A standard 4 pin PWM and standard 3 pin ARGB. This lets you use any of your banks of fans on a standard motherboard/other controller headers. This connector will not plug into the L Connect Module.

The single and twin cable connectors are interchangeable between different size fans AND fans that came in 3 pacm or single packs. If you buy 3 x triple pacls of 140s and a single pack of a 120 then you will end up with 3 x single cable connectors and 1 x twin cable connectors. This will allow you the opportunity to connect 3 banks of fans to the L connect module. The module supports a max of 4 banks so if you want 4 banks then you'll need an extra single cable connector.

Lian Li Uni Fan SL Infinity to Lian Li 7 Pin Connector Adapter Cable is the cable that I need to connect the 140mm Fans to the unit. This cable is only supplied with 120mm fans.

Are you sure you want to use 140s? The 120s perform better and you would also get the cables and module you want in the 3 pack.
