OK, so i'm trying to connect my MacBook to my tele so I can watch my films etc on a big screen.
I've had this working before, but it always seems a bit hit and miss whether it actually works.
I've got one of the mini DVI connectors, to a DVI cable hooked up to my tele.
Now, what's the correct process of launching Front Row?
I've tried closing the lid on my MacBook which brings up the display (background only, no dock etc) on the tele. Clicking my mouse or pressing Menu on the remote doesn't do anything.
I've tried leaving the lid open slightly, launching front row and then closing the lid but again, the background loads up on the tele for a few seconds then it goes off.
Where am I going wrong? One of the main reasons I bought this is I thought it'd be simple to just connect it to the tele as and when I wanted to watch something.
