Connecting Mobo To PC Case

Just doing some research into Motherboards.
From youtube tutorials i've learnt how to connect them, in my current mobo it's easy to find the power button connector etc. however the newer higher end mobos i've seen around the internet look different...

Here is what I mean.
Current mobo has these connectors...

Higher end mobo's don't ??

As I won't be able to upgrade my GPU any time soon I'd sonsider changing the mobo as an upgrade.
