I'm just connecting up the power cables on my new build, and I have some cables for my Lepa B750 PSU that have 3 SATA power supplies and one 4-pin molex supply on the same ribbon.

I was wondering if I can use a single ribbon to supply a HDD and optical drive, or should I use a separate cable for each drive?

Cool, also, the PCI connectors seem to have 2 6+2 ends, one at the end of the cable and one coming straight back out of the first plug in the opposite direction. Does it matter which I use?

It should not matter, just double check it fits ok.

Edit: Just looked at the pics, the single end would plug into the PSU.

Looks like Lepa have used one cable which can supply 2 power supplies to the gpu rather than having 2 separate cables going to the gpu.

Some gpu's require 8 pin + 6 pin power, just leave the 2 pin to one side if they are not needed.
