I thought i'd start a new thread for this as the other one is just stupidly long and i'd like to keep connectivity issues separately!
Right i got this monitor with the intention of using for my PC, Freeview and PS3.
The DVI port is not HDCP enabled so the PS3 will not work without a HDfury adapter/gamers edition cable.
I hooked mine up today and the picture looks amazing! BUT It seems the auto-sync has a slight problem where it always puts the right side of the picture off the screen![Mad  ](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/mad.gif)
when you press the AutoSync button it does briefly get the aspect correct but then suddenly flips back to how it was.
I think i found a work around by pressing the Sync button, then when it looks correct, press it again and it stops. It's works twice for me so far anyway.
It does seem to remember where you had it set after switching off/unplugging so now i am just going to leave it!
Using the HDfury through VGA i cant see any difference between the orginal HDMI. In fact it looks a TON better than it did with my Toshiba 32WLT68 Tv, which also had bad overscan. With my little sync tweak it seems GREAT now!
Ok now onto freeview.
I have a Goodmans Upscaling freeview box plugged in via HDMI>DVI. It works fine, looks great but the box itself sometimes responds too many times to the remote. Could be a dodgy box im not sure yet.
I decided to order one of the Mico HDMI Freeview boxes off MAP LIN but after pluggin it in, all i get is a green screen through HDMI>DVI or HDMI>HDFURY>VGA. I tried the box on another panel with DVI and it worked fine so avoid this freeview box with the OCUK value 24"
EDIT: this box doesnt work as it needs HDCP enabled port, it worked with my HDfury when i added a power supply to the Hdfury. Picture quality is not very good so avoid!
Anyways hope this helps some people intending to use the screen like i am.
