Connecting Sky Box to projector help pls!

Hey guys,
I recently got myself a projector and today I went down town to buy a scart to 2 phono and S-video cable to connect my sky box to my projector. The sky box only really has scart and aerial sockets on it and the projector has a host of ports, one of which is s-video. I thought that plugging the scart into the sky box, the s-video into the projector and the 2 phono parts in my stereo would do the job but the projector doesn't seem to find the signal.

Ok thanks,so even though I am pluggin scart into the sky box i cant output s-video at the other end? I did see one of them in the shop as well but opted for the s-video as i thought it would be better quality!
 
ok thanks, the sky+ box in the living room has s-video which works nicely but in my room i got the old box :( Anyway thanks a lot for the help, i'll nip back into town and change it now :)
 
Never saw your post but just went back and changed it for normal video and it works at least :) thanks for yout help mate

Edit: i had a check on the hidden menu and cant see anything. Pity coz the quality is noticably different but better than nothing!
