Whatever screen(s) you're considering buying, you should have already done a forum search here (not to mention a google search) and read every thread about it in full. It's the only way to avoid nasty surprises. It's well worth spending an hour doing that, and you'll get 10X the amount of info that way.

I'm not trying to guide you away from the Samsung and towards the Dell btw, I've never used the Samsung and the Dell has it's own weaknesses.

mr gubby, do you notice any input lag when using it? or is it all hype?

I've read all the reports about input lag , from what I remember it is supposed to be in the order of 60mS, thats about 4 frames at 60fps .Typical reaction times are in the order of 200mS so your lag is 3x worse than the screen

I (and my son) have given the screen extensive abuse in Counterstrike / Day of Defeat and other such games and have not noticed any problems , Kill / death rate is still the same

Moving from a 'good' crt to a 'bad' LCD may show some problems but we are still talking about a possible lag of 60 thousands of a second
