It looks like those metal bits are shorting the LF/HF + together, and the LF/HF - together, so just connect them in the normal way and both networks will be wired in parallel.

Exactly. Those metal plates in the second picture are there if you're not bi-wiring so the options are:
1) If you want to continue to bi-wire, remove those plates.
2) If you don't want to bi-wire, remove one set of red/black speaker cable from your amp and leave the metal plates in place.
