I've been to www.xbox.com/pcsetup, currently using XP and it tells me to allow sharing in windows media player under the library tab. Which I have done, and the PC can see the Xbox. The next step i went to the Xbox but it doesn't see the PC........anyone know why?

Connecting using a 3com router.

Stream...

You have download Media Exctender then yes? Open it up and make sure you are sharing the folders you want to and you've got the 360 on the "Allow" list.

Also i think you need Windows Firewall disabled

sorry, Stream....

anyway, media exctender? not come across that on the site on the "steps to do list", and i have windows firewall disabled and using my own one, which i have allowed when asked.

EDIT - I think i know now.............switching my firewall off it worked...

Media extender is the software you download at xbox.com/pcsetup i believe

/edit

you on XP or XP MCE?

/edit 2

Seems Media Extender is no more and built into WMP 11 - have you configured Medai Player to share the right folders and allow the 360 then?

Hi Raymond,

Download Tversity - it'll convert media on the fly and stream it to your Xbox - I found it very easy to set up - there's a complete guide on the Tversity site.
