Connecting three old monitors to a 6950...

Helloo, first post woo!

I've just built a new rig with the XFX 6950 as my graphics card. I currently have connected: a quite old 24" LCD with DVI and HDMI connections connected to one of the DVI outs, and a very old 19" LCD with a VGA connection, connected to the other DVI out with a DVI > VGA connector.

My question is: I have another of these 19" LCDs with a VGA connector, and was wondering if there way any way I could get all three connected with my current graphics card. I've seen Mini DisplayPort to DVI connectors, so I was wondering if I could use one of them to connect the DVI monitor and then two DVI > VGA connectors to connect the two old VGA monitors?

I think the problem here is that only one of the DVI outs on the card will work with a VGA monitor, so is there any way around this? Also I'm not sure if I need to get an active MiniDP > DVI connector, or if a passive one will do, the difference here seems to be about £30.

Alternatively, I also have an old GeForce 8800GT, so I guess I could put that in as a second card to drive the two ancient LCDs, any problems if I go down this road?

I'm guessing the main response here will be to buy some less archaic screens but all three still work fine so I'd like to avoid that if possible! :) Cheers, Josh
