connecting to external tft's

Hi guys, I'm trying to find out how to go about connecting my macbook to a TFT monitor. What cable's will I need? Can I buy the correct cable's from any local PC shops?

I was also wondering, if I do connect the macbook to it, will it still be widescreen? or can I change the resolution once it's on the TFT?

You'll need to get a cable to convert the mini-dvi connector to whatever input your monitor needs.

You can get them online direct from Apple, not sure if you can get 3rd party ones.
