Hey guys,

Now that I’ve got my TV all nicely fitted etc, I would like to connect it up to my PC :D

What cable (Name of cable etc) and adaptors do I need? My graphics card has 2x DVI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ;)

Cheers,

SW.

Doesn your tv have a dvi input, if so then use a dvi cable, it not then if you have a recent graphics card it should have svideo out.

Hey, thanks for the reply;)

I seem to only have a traditional D-Sub connection and a small circular connection on the TV? I'm pretty sure I have TV-out on my graphics cards, but isn't VGA/DVI better as an output

Whats my best connectivity option in terms of overall quality and where do I get such cables from, what do I 'google' :)

Cheers,

SW.

Nice tv you got there :) Bought the same one this afternoon!!!

Use a VGA Cable, and get hold of a DVI>VGA adapter, its a little block which (as the name suggests) converts dvi to vga, comes with most graphics cards, should've come with yours, might be easy to get hold of,.... but thats the best option,

OR

get a DVI - HDMI cable

It certainly is ;)

I'm chuffed to bits with it!

In the end it came down to a battle between the Samsung LE26R74BDX and the Sony KDL-26S2010.

The Sony won; bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for :D

Hopefully...

I'm going to go with the DVI to HDMI option, just seen a "high quality" 2m cable on the Bay for under a tenner
