I have a ASUS Vivobook 16 M1603QA laptop, and i am interested in connecting two 24' monitors to it to extend the display on all screens rather than mirror it. I contacted asus support, they said "As checked, your device can only be connected to an external monitor via HDMI, the other USB ports do not have display port function." I asked as i had tried using other ports to connect the second monitor as the first external monitor worked fine through the HDMI port.
Have you any advice about how to solve this? I have had trouble finding hardware that extends the display to the two external monitors rather than just mirror it from the hdmi port. Also are there alternative workarounds i am not thinking of please? As always, i am appreciative of you reading and thanks to anyone that may be able to help.
