Connecting two (or more) monitors to a GTX 670

I have recently acquired a GTX 670 Windforce, my 8600GT had two monitor connectors on the back and I had my two monitors connected to it easily enough.

With the GTX 670 I can connect to one but the other has a slightly different configuration of holes on the connection port and I my second monitor doesn't fit. Do I need to buy some sort of adaptor so I can use two monitors? I didn't get anything in the box with the card.

if you are using DVI then it sounds like you are trying to put a DVI-I cable in to a DVI-D hole - you need a DVI-D cable

either that or you are trying to use 2 VGA cables in which case you need a DVI to VGA adaptor one of which (or even two) would have been in the original box but can also be purchased for about £1

a photo of the hole and cable that you are having problems with would really help

Thanks for the advice, makes more sense now, the connectors I have are DVI-I - one fits fine, the other port on the card is DVI-D so I'll need to get a DVI-D cable like Andybird suggested. Thanks. Still learning about all this stuff.
