Hi guys,

I'm having great difficulty in connecting up my cases (generic, non-specific) to my gigabyte ep31-ds3l motherboard's pin header...

The case has got 8 individual pins:

Spkerout L
Mic-bias
Spk Out r
GND
Return L
Mic-in
Return R

My mobo manual says:

I can't seem to get anything to work off of the boards pin header? Could someone help me with what goes where :D

Well I can see where left and right line out go according to the diagram, no idea abou left and right return, Micin must be mic with mic bias = mic power. That's just me guessing though.

Honestly, I'd buy a cheap branded case because it will come with a proper header.

I know, I know... I've never had this problem before though, even with using cheapy cases :(

Starting to think that the front panel itself is faulty? Although having said that, USB is fine.
