I had my TP-Link Archer 6 connected to my BT Hub 3 via an 8 port network switch and it worked fine. Yesterday, I upgraded to Talk Talk fibre and the Archer 6 keeps losing connection (WiFi & Ethernet outputs). All the wired devices from the network switch still work fine. I moved the Archer to the start of the circuit so that it's plugged directly into the Talk Talk outlet and everything works fine i.e. no connection drop outs.
The issue I have is that the Archer is now in a far corner of the house and wi-fi signal is low in places. Why was it working fine with the Hub 3 but not the Talk Talk? Do I need to tweak some setting, or does it really need to have a direct connection to Talk Talk outlet?
