Hi guys,
I recently ordered one of these from Overclockers:

Samsung S24B300HL 23.6" Widescreen LED Monitor

Screen is absolutely fab and well pleased with it.
However I have a question about connection to my graphics card.

the monitor came with VGA and HMDI but I only have DVI on my graphics card.
Right now I'm using a DVI to VGA adapter on my graphics card without any issues.

Will I get a better quality image with DVI to HDMI? If so what cables do I need to get to connect?
I looked though the cables and I was confused by the male and female descriptions and I'm not sure what way around everything is or what to order. Some expert help needed please guys!

AFAIK you may get a slightly clearer image using DVI/HDMI, TBH the last time I used VGA was when I had a CRT monitor. I wouldn't faff with an adaptor (out of stock at the moment anyway), I would get either this cable or this cable.

You should definitely go with a DVI-to-HDMI cable (like the ones BlackBat linked to). That way your system doesn't need to go through a conversion between digital and analog, which is mandatory when using VGA.

PS. Though not saying you will notice a difference of night and day... Just that DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort is indeed the preferred option with LCD monitors, which are digital by design.
