Connection confusion

So chaps and chapesses, I have just purchased a LG C1 to replace and older C7, but I am a little confused over how to connect compared to my LG C7 setup and what the impact is.

I currently have my PS5 as a blue ray player and console connected to a Denon x2400h which then connects to my TV via ARC. I tend to only use the cinema speakers for big event programs or films. I am not a massive gamer and don't watch that many films via the PS5. So, questions....

Am I "better" off in connecting the PS5 directly to the C1?

If I continue with the original C7 setup, with the C1, what am I missing out on for playing games and watching films via the blue ray player of the PS5?

If it's not a lot then I may leave it as is because the way my TV is mounted it would be tricky to get another hdmi cable to it without a bit of work.

Cheers

For games Ps5 through Denon then onto TV means you'll lose 120hz 4k vrr playback.

For movies then best to go into to Denon, as e-arc may cause issues. I don't believe Ps5 passes all formats I forget which maybe DTS X or Atmos?

So get dedicated BD player for movies

I will be strung up if I buy anything else!

So, the best solution would be to wire the PS5 directly to TV, leave the AVR via the arc and then get a BD player that connects to AVR.

Another option would be to get a AVR that has EARC? I would only lose whatever the PS5 cannot pass for movies?

Correct on both but wait for others who know what Ps5 doesn't pass.

Denon 3709 has better room eq also
LG e-arc doesn't pass certain formats either I think DTS,?
Ok. For now I might leave buying a dedicated player or an upgrade to the avr and instead go for the much cheaper solution, although more hassle of wiring a new HDMI cable.

When the AVR gives up I just make sure a new one has earc
