Connection Dropping / Line Stats

We have 2 connections in the office at present, both ADSL - around 7mb each or so. One is with BT, and the other with Fast.co.uk - both on separate phone lines.

Recently the BT connection seems to be dropping every few hours - I've had a look at the router (Draytek 2830N) and the line stats showing as follows :

SNR Margin : 6
Loop Att. : 44

Would this be the cause of an unstable line? I can't see the stats for the other line unfortunately (not sure how to access from the router?)

Aha I can see in the log of the router "SNR Margin value lower than MINSNRM, rebooting DSL state machine"

But I can't actually see the SNR margin itself at that point -whilst I've been looking it seems to change between 6 and 7.

Thanks for the tips - will get my colleague to try that nexdt week , I work remotely so is a pain for me as I'm far from the office so need to run my colleague through this!

Actually this has been going on for a few weeks - the whole time I was certain it was the router (Draytek 2820VN) so got that RMAd and just changed to a Draytek 2830N when this thread was started but it seems the issue is still there now

Anyway, I'll probably ask my colleague to pick up a 3G USB dongle and run that as WAN3 so even if the 2 DSL lines are down we at least have that.

I've pulled the logs from the router, not sure if these can help to pinpoint the problem
