After weeks of trying to figure out whats going wrong with my internet, ive decided to seek help here.

My problem is that my connection is dropping around a specific time being the hours between 6 -8 which is strange.

Now i have a Netgear DG384G adsl router, i checked the logs to find the LCP is not able to come up along with a sync error and it will then count everytime the router tries to establish a connection again.

my provider is talk talk, i have tried a different phone socket in the house being my main socket, even with just the router alone with no devices attached the routers connection will drop.

Now my feeling on this is that its the router but before i go spending another 60 odd quid is there anything i can do?

well i have tried a modem not a router and yes it does actually work. with a modem which gave me the idea it was the router

do you think netgear would replace my router? ive had it for roughly a year now maybe just under
