Connection issues internet

Hi,

Basically in the past month or so I have been getting connection issues just with this computer, basically i would try and load a webpage or a program that tries to connect to the internet it comes up with errors such as "Oops! Internet Explorer could not find such and such" or "could not connect please restart program"

but then when i refresh the page/program it works and for like almost every website it comes up with error and i just have to press refresh to load it, why is this? and is there anything i can do to fix it? It says im connected and stuff with over 100mbps.

Sound very much like dns issues, try open dns.

VM, im on their 50MB service. Do you think I should download a DNS benchmark program and log onto my router and change it to the fastest DNS it can find? or is it somthing else?

Do other browsers work ie firefox, chrome, opera?

Nope, for example even when im trying to update my addons for wow using this program called "wowmatrix" it needs to connect to the internet to find the updates ect but it always fails now, it says "cant connect please try again" ect and IE just fails like once or twice so i just have to refresh page untill the page works

Do i just change it at router or do i have to change it for every computer including router? (sorry if thats a noob question)

You should be able to change it at the router. Which router do you have?

got a linksys, ran a couple of benchmarks and just took the two top that i thought had a good average and put them on, web browsing seems a lot quicker, but when i try and load up "wowmatrix" still comes up with error, have not had an error with IE yet so fingers crossed.
