Hi, My ISP is UKOnline and im getting connection drop outs intermitently at random times. It may work fine for 5 days then drop out 6 times in a row or Drop Once every day, ive tried to put up with it but its very annoying.
Heres my stats:
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
DSL Mode: MMODE
Connection Status: Showtime
Speed (down/up): 5248/768
ATM QoS class: UBR
Near End CRC Errors (I/F): 2/0
Far End CRC Errors (I/F): 2/0
Near End RS FEC (I/F): 34/0
Far End RS FEC (I/F): 405786/0
SNR Margin (Downstream/Upstream): 7/9
Transmit Power (Downstream/Upstream): 18/11
Attenuation (Downstream/Upstream): 49/61
Just wondering what RS FEC errors are as they count up by about 500 every second
Any tips or settings to improve my connection
