Hi!
I was wondering if it is possible to get connection in the house by phone sockets.
The thing is ,
There is a cable modem and it goes wireless. But the connection speed is better on cable ofc. (got only 11Mb/s Wifi card). I am curious if it's possible to connect somehow cable to phone socket and to modem and then upstairs to connect Ethernet card throuhg another phone socket so i am not creating the cable web over the house.
Cheers
P.S I know i can get new WiFi card but still prefer cable :)

Yes, phone network is possible but its been overtaken by faster, cheaper and more reliable networking over mains power circuits. Your unlikley to find the equipment needed. Have a look at 'homeplug' power adapters instead
