hi just done a format installed all the drivers ect, when i connect to the internet it stays on for around 5 seconds then goes of then on then off and keeps doing the same thing over and over.

I spoke to a teacher and he says it could be a virus but how would it be a virus after a format and reinstall?

anyone help me with this i am out of ideas.

Merged your two threads - it's easier for everyone if you keep it all together...

What are you trying to connect the machine to (router, modem, what) and what with? How do you know it's "going on and off"?
Who's your ISP?

all would be useful (you don't need to screenshot either, right click and select Mark, select what you want then press enter, then paste).

Need much more information before anyone can even think of helping.
