Hi,
I have recently change router to the model: TD-W8960N. However I have been unable to connect to my ADSL account with it.
Please could you advise me on settings? I have the following options:
- Connection Type (PPPOA / PPPOE / MER / IPOA / BRIDGING)
- VPI (0-255)
- VCI (32-65535)
-Encapsulation Mode (VC/MUX / LLC/SNAP-ROUTING)

The router is receiving ADSL (the light is on) and I wish to use a wired connection. I have ADSL+ and my ISP is ADSL24

Currently I recieve the error code :020. Using "bridging", the setup completed but it did not connect/

Thanks

PPPoA
VPI 0
VCI 38
Encaps VC/MUX

Those are the defaults on that router, so you just enter your username/password and it should connect.

Get onto the router via your web browser and check that the 'quick setup' page looks like this:

Grr! thanks for help but still no luck. I have the following errors in my log:

Event ID: 7011

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the Dnscache service.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Dhcp
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1002

The IP address lease 192.168.1.100 for the Network Card with network address 00242155B201 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

Still no luck :[ this is the diagnostic page:
