Hi all really hoping someone will have an idea about this,
basically for the last two weeks i have started having connection problems, most noticabley in games where my ping has gone very high and i frequently get connection interupted message.
i have changed no settings or software on my pc and use the same servers i have always used.
a friend told me to do a dos command "tracert" to trace the hops on my connection this showed that some of the hops were gettin up to 200ms connection times and also not alwaysd responding.
i phoned blueyonder who said they have no control over the hops in my connection but it seems strange that i have never had any problem but now for the last 2 weeks i have had theproblem constantly.
does anyone have any ideas what i can do? do you know any more information about how the provider can affect the hops in my connection? as half of the ip's on my list show as blueyonder.
