hi guy my sons problem is that he has a xbo and ps3 both have the 5 audio/picture leads he has to unplug to play the other on his tvit has a hdtv decoder part with the 5 connections as i have mentioned it also hasa dvi-d in and a vga in and rs232 plug plus what looks like another component in audio out plug the tv is a video seven tv with hd prior to proper hdmi plug . my ? is can the xbox andps3 be plugged into abreakout box type unit so that heonly has to flick a switch to use ither console and save him haing to remove the leads every time:) thanks

Use component for the PS3, VGA for the 360. It will be far cheaper and give better results than a component switch.

I was going to put the same thing Kreeee, but the HDTV sounds quite old and may not support a VGA resolution capable of powering the 360. It might only have 800x600. Finding out the tech specs of the TV should be the first step in this situation.
