Connection Problems

Hi all,

Im having a few issues with my adsl connection at the moment.

Everything was working fine up untill yesterday but now on my router the online light has gone out, leaving the power and adsl light.

In the security log in the router it has the following error:-

"Timeout in CHAP negotiation"

Is this likly to be a isp issue (ukonline) ora problem with my router?

CHAP is Challenge Handshake Auththentication Protocol, So either your router has lost your settings (Username and Password) or UKonline have changed them..or Like you say Ukonline are having problems (unlikely)

The setting was the first thing I checked and even deleted them and re entered them.

Ive tried calling them but gave up after 20 mins on hold
