I am having a problem with my main PC at home that is driving me up the wall. I am using a Netgear DGN2200 modem/router but think I may have experienced similar issues with my previous one (a DG834PN).
When my main PC is first turned on in the morning it regularly struggles to connect to the internet. I can connect to the router without any problems. The router will be connected to the internet and not reporting any issues. I have tried connecting to the router both wired (through homeplugs) and wirelessly - each suffers from the same problem, ie an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle reporting no internet/limited connectivity.
We have plenty of other devices in the house that connect through the same router without any problems whatsoever. It is just the one PC that has the problem.
I'm guessing that there must be some kind of conflict between the PC and the router but I have no idea what it could or where to start invesitagating it!
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
