I recently moved my desktop computer upstairs so I was forced to purchase a wireless adaptor for it to connect to my broadband, I installed it quickly, no problems and the computer instantly recognized that there is a wireless network available in the house. I thought it was going to all work perfectly as it was all going so well but when I tried to enter the network key however this is where it goes wrong, it just say's that it cannot connect, I know the key is correct s both my partners laptop and my phone are connected with that key. I don't understand the problem as it recongnizes that there is a connection and even the signal strength is excellent.

Here is a link to the adapter model that I am having trouble with:

Any help would be very much appreciated.

And I've also tried calling the manufacturer directly but I was told that because the item is no longer covered under any warranty then they cannot help me resolve any technical issues and he literally hung up on me before I could ask what else I can do or speak to for advice.

I've tried all the drivers that I can find and still no joy, when I tried the one on the manufacturer's website it just said that I currently have the most updated driver already installed on my computer.

So any other suggestions?
