if it doesnt OC well (LOL like its not guna :p ) then atleast you have a higher normal clock speed

save the £30 and buy something else with it TBH
 
id go for faster ram, 6400 atleast, brandwise, take your pick, i think there are still some incompatability issues with certain mobo/ram combinations, so you may want to read up on the forums, or post what you are thinking of getting here and im sure someone will be able to tell you if they are compatible or not :)
