Is that Orthos stable for 12 hours or more? The reason I ask is because there is a huge difference between what will boot windows run super pi etc & what is Orthos stable on these Core 2 Duo chips. I can run super pi @ 4.1 Ghz & yet cannot get my chip stable above 3.8 GHz on Orthos.

Either way, its a hell of chip though. ;)

Nice temps, what cooler you got on there?

I had mine at 3.54 yesterday untill I blew my NB:(

What Voltage you got your FSB Termination and NB running at? and you got any AS5 under there or is it just stock NB HS and paste?

is that VID V of 1.2*** your VCORE?!

i have to agree here! there is so many people saying don't buy the 6400 get a 6300 instead and save the money! i too have been able to get my 6400 @ 3.4ghz on stock volts on air again! http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=129920

haven't seen many 6600's let alone 6300's do this :D top work again fella and don't stop at 3.4! i have had to stop due to the ram im using :(, roll on the 25th so i can sink my teeth into the Team Xtreme 6400 stuff (4-4-4-10) that i have coming to me

Problem with 6300+ possibly the 6400 is the low multi.

YOu need to spend more on a better mobo, and better mem usually to get to the clocks E6600 and higher owners have.

Eg my Geil PC6400 C4 will simply not pass 444mhz, 4-4-4-12, 5-5-5-15 or 6-6-6-18 with any voltage.

My E6600 is sitting at 441x8 giving me 3.535ghz.

So meh, tbh I'd always get the E6600, or atleast the E6400.

Spent hours lapping it to get it flat.

Fsb 1.4v
NB 1.5v
Stock volts is about 1.32v
NB heatsink on mine has a fan.
Used AS5 on cpu as always :)
