I was hoping the e6700 would be sub £400. If we see some nice high fsb boards I'll drop down to the e6600.

Nice to see OcUK securing the early stock though, good job.

I want to pre-order but I want my chip to go in a shuttle SN37P2. What if they don't release the cube at the same time? I'll be stuck with a CPU and nothing to put it in :/

Those prices could give AMD a bit of a kicking the lower end processors look to be very good value and should they fall a bit after the initial lauch feeding frenzy AMD's sales will take a massive hit.

The e6700 has also dropped to £411.19 inc VAT.

I'd imagine the prices are not yet set in stone.

Off-topic: Gibbo, will the price of X1900's come down a little by the end of July/early August? This is when i'm getting my new system.
